Nice, quiet resort in a pretty location. The heated pool with ocean view was a nice touch. Visited at the very end of the season, so it was quite empty, so can’t comment on how it is when busy.
Our wedding at Linekin Bay was absolutely perfect! We had a weekday micro-wedding with only 18 guests, and it was the perfect setting for an intimate ceremony and dinner. We also held a welcome dinner the night before. Melissa, the event coordinator, was a pleasure to work with. She was organized, meticulous, and helped us work through all the details... read more
Felt like we found a hidden gem on the Maine coast! Fantastic view, quiet, secluded spot away from congested center of Bar Harbor, spacious and comfortable room. Real surprise was the dining experience - we had two dinners as well as our two breakfasts and food was excellent every time.
Loved our stay during the week. Our rooms were large. Food was great. Felt very safe and relaxed. Close to trails, parks, preserves and the downtown harbour.
This seems to be a quiet peaceful property promoting enjoying nature.
IMO If you or your group are loud this is probably not going to be the place for you.
Lovely location, accommodation is basic but acceptable, staff friendly and accommodating. Restaurant/bar closes a bit early for me.
We have been visiting Linekin Bay for years. Wonderful family retreat. Sailing, view and total relaxation.
Beautiful view of the water from the bedroom. We attended a wedding and I can’t say enough nice things about the staff. They happily accommodated our need for early check-in. A particular moment that stands out is how accommodating our server was with specific dietary restrictions within our party.
My wife and I got married here back in October, 2020. Our previous venue in Boothbay cancelled on us with 3 weeks notice, and we lucked out with Linekin having availability. I'm certain that our wedding was made way better by having it here, even though we only had 3 weeks to plan most of it. The staff and Melissa,... read more

Beautiful resort but... The staff was friendly and helpful, however, when we arrived we were told that the room we reserved wasn’t available because the people staying in it didn’t check out yet. They apologized for the confusion, offered us an upgrade and a 10% discount. When we went to check out two days later the girl at the front desk... read more
Wow what a find! This was my favorite stay in a 9 day New England trip. We had a huge recently renovated room with a king bed and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay. Outside we had our own small patio with chairs to enjoy the view. There are also several decks and sitting areas around the property. We enjoyed taking a canoe... read more
Can't say enough about this place - stayed 2 nights midweek (Tues - Thurs) and wish it could have been longer. We had a wonderful Jr Suite in the Mahawi Lodge overlooking the bay. Sitting on the Adirondack chairs on the attached deck was absolute HEAVEN. Everything in the spacious suite was brand spanking new, comfortable and upscale - our... read more
Perfect Retreat We stayed in a cabin, and it was just perfect for a very quiet retreat from everything. We were 4 old ladies, but this would be a wonderful spot for those who want to re t a kayak. The site is beautiful, the included breakfast ample, and the nearby town of Boothbay has everything you need. While... read more
Wonderful, renovated family resort This resort was once a camp and then a family resort with cabins. It has been beautifully renovated with modern, updated rooms but still retains its vintage atmosphere. The rooms and bathrooms are well appointed. Many have stunning water views and the buildings have decks with outdoor chairs. There are also several small cabins scattered around the property. Breakfast is... read more
Wonderful Resort I attended a photography workshop with Downeast magazine and we stayed at the resort. My room was in the building next to the office. My room was huge and had an ocean view. A breakfast buffet was included and included the typical eggs and meat. There were also blueberry pancakes and muffins. Ate dinner at the resort once and the... read more
