Bet’s Famous Fish Fry
For visitors who have had their fill of lobster rolls, Bet’s Famous Fish Fry is the perfect place to visit on the way to Boothbay Harbor. Though the menu is limited to fish sandwiches, “fish in a dish,” and french fries, it’s difficult to find fresher selections anywhere else. In fact, the owner herself catches the haddock fresh and delivers it to customers in huge portions! We recommend choosing a picnic table behind the shack and digging in. Whatever visitors order, they’ll encounter Bet’s booming Downeast personality and a simple, delicious meal.
