At Linekin Bay Resort, a family-oriented destination with a long history of successful retreats, guests can partake in a wide variety of activities. Learn to sail together, play games, and discover the splendor of coastal Maine’s landscape. However groups spend time here, they return home feeling refreshed and fulfilled. Here are some of the unique activities Linekin Bay Resort offers!
The Sailing Academy at Linekin Bay Resort is a truly unique item to include on a retreat planning checklist! Our 3-day introductory sailing course allows up to four people per boat, so it’s ideal as a series of breakout activities. We combine classroom and water instruction for a thrilling and educational experience! Participants will learn the parts of a boat, how to rig a sailboat, knots, rules of the road, and much more! Our sailing packages consist of:
- Three nights of lodging
- Three days of small group instruction
- Three gourmet meals per day (during high season)
- Two days of free sailing.
During the summer in Boothbay Harbor, be sure to cross water activities at Linekin Bay Resort off of the retreat planning checklist! In addition to our popular sailing course, we can help groups orchestrate kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing trips. The best part? These activities are all complimentary to an All-Inclusive stay with us!
Between May and October, land activities at Linekin Bay Resort are great ways to get to know others. Spark up a game of P.I.G. in our basketball court, start a Bocci tournament, or volley the birdie around. It’s the perfect time to practice or try something new!
Our on-property restaurant, The Deck Bar & Grill, is the perfect gathering place. Groups love the relaxing, seaside atmosphere, tasty Maine cuisine, and creative happy hour specials. The restaurant is open daily between 11:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
