This summer, learn to sail at Linekin Bay Resort, one of New England’s premier adventure resorts. The resort’s sailing program was developed over 40 years ago. All “Learn to Sail” classes are conducted in small groups on Linekin Bay in Rhodes 18’s, Rhodes 19’s or Lightning sailboats, with weighted centerboards that allow sailors to easily circumvent any obstacles in the bay. Learning to sail is FUN, EASY and SAFE. No experience is needed; our skilled instructors will guide you through your course.
Our philosophy is that to become an excellent sailor, one needs a good feel for the relationships among water, wind and direction. The response of a sailboat in various wind and sea conditions requires well-planned actions that can best be learned in a simple daysailer.
Experience the beauty of the coast of Maine while expanding your knowledge and opening up a world of sailing adventures. Browse our accommodations and book your stay to experience sailing at Linekin Bay Resort!
