MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND PACKAGE

Linekin Bay Resort

Water Activities

After all, we are on the coast!

There are plenty of things to do from our waterfront at Linekin Bay Resort in Boothbay Harbor. Swim in the ocean or in our heated oceanfront pool, enjoy access to our canoes, kayaks and paddle boards, set sail out on Linekin Bay… or drop a line and go fishing off our dock or in one of our new row boats. Or simply do nothing at all…order up a frozen beverage from the Deck Bar & Grill and settle into an Adirondack chair for sea breezes, bay views, and relaxing vibes.

A day on the water is just the beginning. For more information on all there is to see and do in our area, check out our Things To Do in Boothbay Harbor. It’s filled with our best recommendations for dining, sightseeing, shopping, and more in the Boothbay Harbor region. Then, check our availability to get started planning your next vacation to the area!

POOL

Swim oceanside!

Take a dip in our heated saltwater pool, built along the rocks, just above the high tide lines. Or relax poolside in one of our lounge chairs overlooking Linekin Bay and watch the boats cruise by.

Feeling adventurous? Jump into the ocean off the dock and revive the senses! It is said that swimming in the Maine ocean will keep you young forever. We highly suggest you plunge off either East or Main Lodge docks at least once per day.

CANOES & KAYAKS

Grab a paddle!

Located on Linekin Bay, our resort has an expansive dock, and plenty of waterfront to get out and explore Maine’s most treasured feature –  it’s coastline. Sign out a canoe or kayak and paddle from our Sail Shack, and head out on the bay to explore the coastline, islands, and much more.

We are a proud sponsor of the Maine Island Trail Association. MITA’s trail guide book is located at our Sail Shack with over 375-miles of water trails for boaters that extends the length of the Maine coast.

Stand up paddle boards

What’s SUP?

Stand up paddle boards are a fun way to get out on the water! Come try your hand at paddle boarding on the bay; it’s a challenge, but oh so fun! You don’t have to be a great paddler or some kind of athlete to have a blast on a stand-up paddle board. You’ll find paddle boards on the dock, and paddles and life vests located in our Sail Shack.

FISHING

Cast a line!

I would rather fish any day than go to heaven” said the first official Maine Guide, Cornelia “Fly Rod” Crosby.  If fishing is on your list of to-dos when in Maine, we’ve got you covered.  Basic fishing equipment is located at the Sail Shack or bring your own gear to fish off the dock or rocky shore. We frequently see stripped bass caught off the dock; just be sure to have your Maine fishing license with you. Get your license from the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, and be sure to review Maine’s fishing laws before you cast a line.

Sailing

Come sail away…

During the summer months, guests can enjoy access to our fleet of Rhodes 19 and Lightning sailboats. Sailing instruction is based on availability and must be reserved in advance.

  • Sailboat rentals without instruction are $50 per hour and with instruction are $75 per hour.
  • Visit the Sail Shack for details and to sign up for sailing lessons after you’ve arrived on property.

May you have fair winds and following seas!
