A Winter Wonderland the Whole Family Will Love
During most of the year, visitors can take advantage of the many things to do at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Between November 17 and December 31, however, the venue will transform into a winter wonderland for 2017’s Boothbay Botanical Gardens Aglow! In addition to Christmas lights as far as the eye can see, this event is known for its great selection of food and entertainment. Bring the entire family along and gather together at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens to enjoy the on-site s’mores pit, freshly popped popcorn, local art, and, of course, beautiful lights!
Searching for more than snacks? The Kitchen Garden Cafe normally closes early, but will stay open and serve special menu options. The sit-down cafe will be open to Gardens Aglow guests from 4 to 8 p.m. (last group seated at 7:15 p.m.). Food trucks will also be present for the duration of the event if your crew prefers casual dining.

Gardens Aglow tickets can be purchased online or at the door. This wintry event sells out quickly, so we recommend purchasing your tickets in advance! Guests are also encouraged to have their digital tickets ready on their mobile devices before arriving. Bought tickets but want to go a different night? Good news: Tickets are transferable to any night of Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens Aglow! Adult tickets cost $12 each and child (ages 3-17) tickets cost $6 each.
